Advice

Yes, you need to be using lube and lots of it, especially for the first time. Sometimes natural lubrication is not enough. Try Astroglide or KY.....(I'm betting that your wife is hardly lubricated at all...no wonder it's painful!) You should place the lube on yourself as well....Remember: You can never use too much lube the first time!

You might want to post your question over at
"themarriagebed.com" click on "Discussion boards" and find an appropriate forum to post your question. The people are older, experienced and better informed in matters of sex and you will find more helpful advice then on this site!!! (most of the people on this site are virgins, so they won't be able to help you) There are also threads on 'stretching exercises your wife can do" on that site that will be helpful to her

You also might want to see a sex therapist if this becomes a problem...There might be something else wrong. Sex really shouldn't be THAT difficult if you are doing everything right. Tell your wife to see a gyno as well. She could have a physical problem. Repressed ideas about sexuality can also cause psychological hang-ups about sex that might also be effecting her. She could have a problem called vaginismus... http://www.vaginismus.com/

The above link has info on 'streching exercises'
