If Your Parents Divorced, Please Share
Hello, I am dealing with some personal issues right now and am wondering if anybody who has experienced their parents' divorce has any advice or general wisdom to impart. If you have something to say that might be helpful, I am sure I'm not the only one here who would benefit from it. Thanks!

advice anyone ?
This is like exactly what have been dealing with and came onto this kind of site for, does anybody have any advice? I did not have problems with my parents divorcing or anything like that but I am nervous that my marriage might be on the rocks and our kid could be affected the most, that is just terrfying because it feels so selfish. on the other hand we deserve to be happy ourselves and shouldnt stick together in some fake marriage. we are not at that point yet, and i hope things get better i just worry about my boy so much its hard to ignore
who has dealt with this?

keep it honest
I just know that, no matter what happens, you can never allow your children to believe that they are the reason for your divorce.
a lot of kids will just think that automatically for reasons they make up in their head so be clear about what is happening, if that ever occurs.
I hope you and your wife find a way to connect once again, I understand what you are going through completely in that way. time goes by and we learn so much about each other, we are bound to dislike quite a few things.
you hafta remenber whats most important in life and the genuine reasons why you love your wife in the first place, if she does the same you guys could be on your way

When my parents divorced...
TRUE! we can never tell whats on our kids mind before or after the divorce. Dealing with children and divorce is not easy, usually we see kids are ok with it but deep inside they are very affected in our decisions.its very hard for them to understand especially when they are still young.

Yes
I am also a product of a broken family due to a divorce. But the good thing is my parents built a good friendship after they break up. They have proved me that coping well with divorce also can bring out strength and maturity. They become more responsible, better problem solvers, better listeners, and better friends.

why should they suffer emotionally..?
Yes it is absolutely right that never make feel your children as they are the reason for their parents divorce. Yes it is true that one can have complete right to take divorce but he or she should also think about their children as they are innocent then why should they suffer emotionally as well as logically because of their parents such sort of decision..
